The MHLI Online Academy allows you, the student, optimal flexibility. You can take training at your pace and your schedule. You can sign up to take an entire certification course, or pick and choose from all available modules. Check back often as we offer additional courses each month.

Click on the topics below for detailed information

On the left-hand menu, under Menu Tools, you can select Class Catalog. This will show you a list of all courses available on the MHLI Online Academy. You can look at the syllabus for each class, which includes the course description, recommended prerequisites, and the cost of the class.

Each MHLI Course has a price for Federal Employees and a cost for Non-Federal students. Once you have selected a course you would like to take, click on Enroll in the catalog. Here, you can choose the tuition cost and enter a promotional code if you have one. Once complete, you can select proceed to payment page.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are not paying for the class with a credit card, click on Email Admin on the left menu to contact the MHLI Registrar to make other payment arrangements. If you want to purchase courses for your office or make other arrangements, just contact us. Remember, you cannot enter a course until payment arrangements have been made. If you are paying with a credit card, proceed to the next page.

Once you have completed your credit card information you can pay for the course. Once paid for, you are ready to start your training.

To find the courses you are enrolled in, return to the student home page. Click on Enter for the Course Home. From here you can complete the module you selected.

  • Make sure you have speakers or headphones ready.
  • Have a good chunk of time set aside to take your training. If you can only focus in short bursts, budget your time to 15-minute increments. You can always come back later and start where you left off.
  • Treat this training like classroom training. Turn off your phone, close your email and immerse yourself in the subject. Take notes in a way that makes sense to you. This could be on a pad of paper or by typing them up.
  • And finally, don’t be afraid to go back through the lessons if there are parts you are confused about.

MHLI will not issue refunds for any course or module once the student has entered the learning module. All refund requests must be made in writing within 72 hours of the credit card being charged. Refunds will not be issued for technical difficulties on the customer side (including internet outages, slow internet speeds, or system problems). In extreme circumstances when refund requests are made after the learner (student) has entered the module or after 72 hours, MHLI may allow students a credit for a future course. Any declined payment will be subject to a $35 fee. There may be a $35 reprocessing fee to change or cancel a payment once payment has been received. Send email inquiries to registrar@mhli.org.
